The Orbital Test Satellite-2 (OTS-2) was a satellite launched by NASA in 1966 as part of the Space Test Program. Similar to its predecessor OTS-1, OTS-2 aimed to test various space technologies and systems in orbit. OTS-2 operated successfully in orbit for a period of time, fulfilling its objectives and providing valuable data for space technology development. Like its predecessor, it eventually ceased operations and remains in orbit as a derelict spacecraft.
